The Venue
This retreat is about reconnecting with your body through yoga, calisthenics, and creative movement. We’ll explore these practices not just as physical training, but as ways to play, adapt, and build awareness—kind of like how we used to move as kids. Expect bodyweight training that challenges your strength, balance, coordination, and mobility in a fun and functional way. These sessions are designed to support your everyday movement and help you feel stronger and more confident in your body. We’ll also dive into Thailand’s national martial art, Muay Thai, with a special session that brings power, rhythm, and energy into the mix—because you can’t come to Thailand without giving it a try!

Yoga and calisthenics

It’s time to reconnect with our bodies. While we practice physical yoga poses, we also use asanas and movements as tools to explore, adapt, learn, and grow. During the movement workshops, we will engage in playful exercises across all planes of motion, just like we did when we were younger.
Through simple exercises using only our body weight, we will challenge our balance, coordination, mobility, and strength. These practices will ultimately enhance our everyday movements, making them stronger and more confident. Whether it’s getting up, squatting to pick something up, running, hanging, or jumping, these movements help reduce the risk of injury and improve overall quality of life.

Meet your hosts Issy - Max

Issy Nadee
Issy started her yoga journey after years of suffering from back pain scoliosis, causing lots of physical and mental issues. She wants to encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle through yoga, mobility and movement to enhance the joint’s mobility. Her class combines modern movements and mindfulness. She gives various modifications. She believes that ‘yoga is not about the poses, so don’t let the poses define you. We use them as a tool to connect and learn deeper within ourselves’.

Maxime Ronse
Max brings years of experience as a personal trainer specializing in calisthenics and strength training. With a deep understanding of anatomy, he excels at breaking down movements and integrate muscle groups to optimize strength, mobility, and body awareness. His expertise in calisthenics perfectly complements the yoga practice, as both disciplines share roots in bodyweight training and functional movement. It’s recommended to bring some Thai Baht (THB) in cash for convenience, especially for local shops, transportation, and smaller restaurants that may not accept credit cards. ATMs are widely available, but transaction fees may apply.
Tipping Policy: Tipping is not mandatory in Thailand, but it is appreciated for good service. At restaurants, it’s common to leave small change or round up the bill. For hotels, leaving 20-50 THB for porters or housekeeping is a kind gesture. For tour guides or drivers, a tip of around 100-200 THB per day is appropriate for excellent service.
